Two More Top Tens For Bill Mooney Racing

The first of two straight busy weeks of racing produced two more top ten results for Bill Mooney Racing. Action started last Wednesday Night with the Northern Late Model Racing Association at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN. A bad draw left Bill with the seventh starting spot in his heat race. Bill would race up to the fourth spot, leaving him one position shy of the inversion draw, giving Bill the 16th starting spot for the feature.

Another Night, Another Hard Charger, and more rain

The second week of racing at the Red River Co-Op Speedway produced an epic Late Model Feature last Thursday Night. Bill would move up to the seventh spot by the end of the first lap, and to the sixth spot by lap 4. Bill would remain in the sixth spot until a lap ten restart when he would enter into a three car battle for the fourth position with Dustin Strand, and Paul Veert. After Bill moved to the low side of the race track in turns three and four, he would beat Strand in a drag race to the start/finish line...

Bill moved to the outside on the backstretch making it three wide with Mike Balcaen, and Shane Edginton. Something had to give as Balcaen and Edginton made contact causing Edginton to spin, and collecting three other competitors...
