Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Red River Co-Op Speedway Point Leader

After nearly a week long road trip that saw a pair of top tens results last week, Bill Mooney driver of the No. 2 McPhillips Toyota/OMG Candy Millar Powered MasterSbilt by JMR, heads into the races on Thursday night as the point leader at the Red River Co-Op Speedway.

First on Wednesday night at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minnesota, finished third after starting fifth in the heat race. Bill started ninth in the feature, and was as high as fourth at one point, as he spent the last half of the race battling with Dustin Strand, Cody Skytland, and Cole Schill. Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Second In Winnipeg, Hard Charger At River Cities

Following a win last Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway, and a second place finish at River Cities, Bill Mooney driver of the No. 2 McPhillips Toyota/OMG Candy Millar Powered MasterSbilt by JMR looked to continue the hot start to this season, and he did with another runner-up finish in Winnipeg, and a hrad charger award at River Cities.

On Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, another poor draw put Bill in the seventh starting spot in his heat race. He passed George Balcaen on lap one, Shane Edginton and Mike Martin on lap two, and one final pass of Paul Veert on lap three, for a third place finish...

A win in Winnipeg and a runner-up at River Cities for Bill Mooney driver of the No. 2 McPhillips Toyota/OMG Candy Millar Powered MasterSbilt by JMR highlighted a banner week last week.

On Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill started third, and was clipped by Shane Edginton on the first lap, but continued on and began to chase down Paul Veert. Bill took the lead from Veert on lap three, and cruised to a seven second victory after a pair of cautions. Bill then started sixth in the feature, was fourth after lap one, and split Rick Fawcett and Kevin Sexton to take second on the next lap. Bill passed Paul Veert again on lap two and cruised to a three second victory over Ricky Weiss...

Last weeks’ racing action saw Bill Mooney driver of the No. 2 McPhillips Toyota/OMG Candy Millar Powered MasterSbuilt by JMR collect two more top five finishes, continuing a strong start to this season.

Mother nature finally let the season start at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, where Bill won his heat by two and a half seconds over Kevin Sexton.
