Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Huge Setback

Hoping to bounce back from a tough night in Jamestown, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Weed Man Millar Powered MasterSbilt, suffered another setback, as the team returned home early on Saturday with a totaled race car.

Around two inches of rain pushed the event back to the eight o’clock hour, as the track was, once again, heavy and fast, but thankfully not as difficult as it was one week prior. Bill was part of another epic battle with Dustin Strand for second, with the latter getting the edge at the finish. Bill’s third place finish in the heat put him in the NLRA redraw, where he redrew for the ninth spot in the main event.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Highs And Lows On Three Race String

After just two days away from the track, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Classic Trailer Sales Millar Powered MasterSbilt, returned to action for a three race swing.

Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill finished second after starting second in the heat, giving him the fifth starting spot in the feature. He dodged a spin by Paul Veert on lap two, and raced up to third on lap four after the restart. Bill was the only car on the track trying to make the cushion work, as he held Mike Balcaen and Shane Edginton off until lap eight when the pair made it past, with Bill falling back to fifth...

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Rain and Fours

After a pair of rain-outs last week, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Emerson Duty Free Millar Powered MasterSbilt, kicked off the home schedule, scoring another top five at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Monday night.

Last weeks cancellations included the second and third rain outs in a row, first on Thursday at the Red River Co-Op Speedway for the second time in five days, and again on Friday at the River Cities Speedway. Monday night’s race was a result of Last Thursday’s rain out, as the speedway typically reschedules races for the following Monday.
