Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Win 2 And Hard Charger 2 For Car 2

After making some gains with the new car last week, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Belle Fosh Signs Millar Powered MasterSbilt, scored another feature win, a runner-up, and another hard charger award.

Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill tallied another heat win from the third starting spot over Kevin Sexton and Mike Martin, while running a race best lap at just over 19 seconds at 115 Km/h for an average speed.

Bill started sixth in the main event, and had raced up to fourth, but he was stuck on the bottom on a double file restart after a lap five caution. Bill fell back to seventh by the end of the race, as the new car hasn’t acclimated to the home track just yet.

One week after returning to action, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Paintball Paradise Millar Powered MasterSbilt, made big gains with the new car, scoring a top five on Thursday in Winnipeg, and won his first hard charger award if the season on Sunday in Fargo.

On Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill was again the recipient of another terrific draw, starting in the seventh and final position in the heat race. Bill made it past a couple of drivers making their season debuts at the green, then peeked inside of Mike Martin and Leo Feeleus on the back stretch. Bill Mooney Racing Recap – A Pair Of Heat Wins In Return To Track

After a four night thrash to put the new 2 car together, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Maaco Auto Painting Millar Powered MasterSbilt, returned to the track last week, scoring a pair of heat wins.

After a rain out at the Red River Co-Op Speedway on Thursday, Bill made his return to action at the River Cities Speedway last Friday night. The new car may have brought a little luck with it as a good draw put the 2 car on the front row of the heat race for a change. Bill fended off challenges by Joey Pederson, who made his return to action just one week prior. Bill won his heat by nearly a second over Pederson.

Bill Mooney Racing Preview – Return to the Track

Another night of work on the new 2 car.

After a wreck on the backstretch that totaled his race car at River Cities on June 17th, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Curtis Carpets Millar powered MasterSbilt, will return to the track for the first time in 20 days on Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg.

The last time Bill was on the racetrack was 19 nights ago on June 17th during the NLRA show that accompanies the World of Outlaws June stop at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Bill was running seventh that night, before a lapped car spun on the backstretch, collecting Dustin Strand, Donny Schatz, then Bill, bending the front of the frame on the two car, leaving it un-repairable.

An order was put in for a new frame, and it arrived in Winnipeg this past Sunday...
