Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Winning On Live TV

After another top five one night prior, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Paintball Paradise MasterSbilt by JMR, won his second feature of the season at the River Cities Speedway, this time in front of live cameras on Midco Sports Net.

On Thursday night, Bill won his heat race after a battle with Ricky Weiss which saw the pair trade the lead with two laps remaining. Bill ran the fastest lap at just under 18 seconds, at over 130 KM/H. Bill started fifth in the feature, and had a podium spot before moving high on the track while looking for second, eventually falling back to fifth, scoring another top five.

Bill Mooney Racing Preview – Three Races in Three Nights Ahead For The 2 Crew

This week Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Curtis Carpets MasterSbilt by JMR, is set to run three races in three consecutive nights, starting tonight at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg.

Bill’s last two races in Winnipeg have seen him improve from the fourth row in the main event to finish fourth both times. Bill finished a close second to Mike Balcaen at the season opener at the track on May 25th. Bill will enter tonight’s event just eight points back of Balcaen for the point lead in the season long standings in Winnipeg.

Bill did get to run a heat race last week, but was otherwise rained out most of the weekend...

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Tough Week For The 2 Car

It was a tough week for Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Emerson Duty Free Millar powered MasterSbilt by JMR, as another top five at the Red River Co-Op Speedway was followed by a wreck, and a severely damaged the 2 car at River Cities.

On Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway, Bill drew poor for the heat race, starting fifth and finishing fourth, handing him the seventh starting spot in the main event.

Bill spent most of the first half of the race swapping the fifth spot with Paul Veert, eventually taking the spot for good on lap ten. Bill then set his sights on Shane Holden for the fourth spot. Bill chased Holden down and took the spot with four laps remaining, scoring yet another top five.

After a solid start of the season in May, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lucas Oil Millar powered MasterSbilt by JMR, started June with a pair of top fives after staring in the back half of the field.

Last Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill finished second after starting third in the heat race, handing him the seventh starting spot in the main event.
