Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Long Nights During The Dog Days

After a third place at Devils Lake salvaged a tough stretch one week prior, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Winnipeg Hearing Centres Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, had the same luck last week, going from the front to the back on consecutive nights.

Last Thursday at the Red River Co-op Speedway in Winnpeg, started fifth in the heat race and charged all the way up to second.

Bill started fourth in the main event, and was in third at the exit of turn two. Bill split Mike Balcaen and Walt Morris. Bill slid up in front of Morris, but the pair made contact, flattening Bill’s left rear tire.

The crew got the tire changed, and Bill rejoined the race at the tail of the field...

After two tough nights, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Pizza Ranch of Grand Forks Millar powered MasterSbilt by JMR, finished last weeks three race stretch strong with a podium finish at Devils Lake

Last Thursday night, the Northern Late Model Racing Association made their annual trip to the Red River Co-op Speedway in Winnipeg. Bill drew the pole for his heat race, and finished a close second to World of Outlaw champion Donny Schatz.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Solid Runs During A Hectic Schedule

In the midst of the longest stretch of the season, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Future Tint and Stripe Millar powered MasterSbilt by JMR, has been solid, scoring top tens in every race this month.

Last Friday night at River Cities, Bill finished second in his heat race and started sixth in the feature. Close quarters action followed the green flag, as Bill would be the middle of a three-wide sandwich on both ends of the ‘Bullring’. When all was said and done, Bill was in the top five, making his way past Jeff Hapala and Cole Schill on the opening round.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Big Rebound At River Cities

After another top five in Winnipeg last Thursday night, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, came from deep in the field for another top five at River Cities last Friday.

Thursday at the Red River Co-op Speedway in Winnipeg, Bill charged from fourth to second in the heat race. After running the majority of the race in a solid top five position, Bill made a late pass on Kevin Sexton to steal the fourth spot in the final pair of laps in the main event.

Friday at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, Bill started and finished seventh in his heat race, burying him deep in the lineup for the feature.
