Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Top Ten, Heat Win Streak Continues

It has been a solid first half of his 20th season as Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lucas Oil Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, scored two more heat wins, a fastest lap, and two more top tens last week.

On Friday night at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, Bill was originally scheduled to start fifth in his heat race. But a late entry split the field into three heats, moving Bill to the third starting spot in his heat race.

Bill wasted no time moving forward, winning his heat in style. And in doing so, Bill was the only driver in twelve-and-a-half second range, putting down a 12.584 second lap.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Four Wide For The Win Late Turns To Strong Fourth Place Run

It was another successful week for Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Paintball Paradise Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, as he had a chance at his first win in front of a capacity crowd with the River Cities Speedway last Friday night.

Bill drew the third starting spot in his heat race, in a stacked field that included four Wissota National championships, seven NLRA championships, and nine World of Outlaws Sprint titles, as he was slated to run against the likes of Ricky Weiss, Mike Balcaen, and Donny Schatz.

Bill finished a strong third in the race, and drew the eight chip in the NLRA redraw for the main event.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Top Five Run In Devils Lake Tune Up

After another Friday night rain out, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Winnipeg Hearing Centres Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, made his was to Devils Lake, scoring a heat win, and a top four run from row four.

After a rain out Friday night at the River Cities Speedway, the 2 car made a bit of a surprise appearance at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND for a tune up for the following weeks final visit of 2018 to the high-banked third-mile oval.

Bill drew the pole for his heat race, and picked up another heat win, improving to 3-and-1 in heat races early in this seasons’ campaign.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Another Podium At River Cities

It was another solid week for Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Emerson Duty Free Millar Engines powered MasterSbilt by JMR, winning his heat in convincing fashion, and charging from seventh to third in the main event.

Bill returned to the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks last Friday night. Bill drew the pole for his heat race, a rare result at the draw window, and won the heat race by nearly a straightaway.

Bill’s high point average placed him in the middle of the field, in the seventh position at the start of the race.
