Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Another Hard Charger And Top Five At River Cities

Bill’s return to the track last week was a successful one, as he guided the No. 2 Erickson Motors MasterSbilt by JMR to another top five after starting in the fifteenth position.

Bill didn’t have the greatest of starts to his evening, as a fifth place starting spot in his heat race, turned into an eighth place finish. This would create a tall task in the main event, as he was relegated to the fifteenth starting spot.

So far this season at River Cities, Bill has had no problem rebounding from early adversity. On May 31st, Bill recovered from a power steering issue to finish eighth after starting twentieth.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Top Ten Streak Stretches To Seven

Last week, the season long top ten streak continued for Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Travel Manitoba MasterSbilt by JMR, with a hard charging comeback to an eighth place finish at River Cities.

With just one race on the docket last week, Bill headed back to River Cities, and collected a fifth place run in his heat race. That run placed him in the thirteenth starting spot in the evenings main event.

Bill made little progress early while building momentum around the bottom of the high-banked, third-mile oval.

At the halfway point, however, Bill split the middle of high running Travis Robertson, and low running Troy Schill to move into the top ten at the midway point of the twenty lapper.

Bill Mooney Racing Recap – Podium Finish At River Cities

Last week, Bill Mooney, driver of the No. 2 Lucas Oil MasterSbilt by JMR, scored another podium finish at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, keeping his season long top ten streak alive.

Bill jumped back behind the wheel after two weeks off last Friday at the River Cities Speedway, and recovered from what has become a rare bad draw, scoring a fourth place run in the heat race after starting sixth.

That finish was good enough to put him in the invert, so a fifth place starting spot awaited him in the night’s main event.
Bill made short work of getting to the front, eventually taking the lead from Brandon Fuller on the third lap.
