Bill once again had a pair of races last week with appearances at the Red River Co-Op And River Cities, collecting another top five and two top tens.

On Thursday night in Winnipeg, Bill drew a poor number for his heat race, and had his problems multiplied by being placed in a heat race whose competition could be arguably among the best in the area. With Mike Balcaen, Ricky Weiss, and Dustin Strand in front of him, Bill did take fourth from Walt Morris early, and race to a fourth place finish. In the feature Bill started second and jumped out to an early lead that was erased by an early caution. On the restart Bill again jumped out to the lead, and lead the first circuit. BIll was passed on lap two by Shane Edginton. After another caution, Bill raced with Ricky Weiss and Mike Balcaen for the second through fourth spots. After a great battle with Mike Balcaen, Bill then had to fight off advances by Mike Martin. After another caution Bill was able to put Martin safely behind him and ride home in the fourth spot for another top five finish.

At River Cities on Friday night, Bill started third in the heat race, and finished second after overtaking Steve Anderson on the first lap, and following closely behind Ricky Weiss for the remainder of the race. Bill started on the pole next to Dustin Strand who took the early lead. Bill spent the middle portion of the event racing with the likes of Ricky Weiss, Brad Seng, and Joey Pederson. Bill had a top five stolen by a nose at the finish line by Steve Anderson.

Bill has four top fives and eight top tens in 14 nights of racing this year. Bill moved up to fifth in the Red River Co-Op Speedway points standings, just 24 points back of the lead. At the River Cities Speedway, Bill is moved up to sixth in points. Bill still sits ninth in the season long NLRA series points chase. Bill is scheduled to race three times this week starting Thursday at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, continuing Friday at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, and ending Saturday night at the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN.
